CHESTERFIELD, Michigan – May 30, 2026 – Entertainment Supply & Technologies (ES&T) recently delivered another premium auditorium renovation for Detroit-based MJR Theatres (MJR) at the chain’s Chesterfield Cinema 20. The opening of this auditorium marks yet another in MJR’s long list of premium cinema experiences, transforming one of the theater’s auditoriums into MJR’s latest Laser Ultra experience. As with all MJR’s Laser Ultra presentations, the experience combines state-of-the-art technology with a reimagined, immersive environment boasting custom lighting and plush recliners.
Creating MJR’s Laser Ultra

The finished auditorium delivers brighter, sharper 4K laser projection, Dolby Atmos® sound, zero-gravity recliners from partner Irwin Seating, and an upgraded modern aesthetic designed to capture audiences before the previews even start.
Continuing a Trusted Partnership
The Chesterfield project continues ES&T’s longstanding relationship with MJR Theatres, which has included countless premium auditorium installations and renovations across the circuit. Over the years, ES&T has partnered with MJR on Laser Ultra, ScreenX, IMAX, and other modern iterations of moviegoing, helping the Michigan-based exhibitor expand its portfolio and bottom line.
