Inglewood, CA, August 1, 2023 – Entertainment Supply & Technologies (ES&T) is proud to have contributed to opening the first movie theatre in Inglewood, California, in 30 years. The brand-new Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas Inglewood IMAX debuted late last month at the mixed-use Hollywood Park development. The cinema space includes twelve dine-in auditoriums, including one IMAX.
Our Finishing Touches
ES&T teams installed the floor-to-ceiling wall finishes in the IMAX auditorium to accommodate the Cinépolis brand’s modern lighting and aesthetic. The pro-stretch wall treatments enhance the immersive moviegoing experience in a premium setting and contribute to the chain’s upscale ambiance. ES&T technicians outfitted the standard auditoriums with traditional pleated draperies.
Award-Winning Exhibition
In January 2024, the prestigious International Cinema Technology Association (ICTA) honored the project with the Best New Cinema Build award. The accolade highlights the outstanding quality and innovation that went into every aspect of the theatre’s design and construction.

The IMAX experience at Cinépolis in Inglewood is the first to boast 4k laser projection in an upscale dine-in model. It is the most advanced IMAX presentation and includes a newly designed optical engine and proprietary IMAX technologies for crystal-clear imaging and cinematic color. The new Cinepolis Hollywood Park IMAX theatre is not just a place to watch movies—it’s an experience.
